The Australian Customs service is strictly monitoring their regulations regarding the reporting of seafreight cargo at least seventy-two (72) hours before the arrival of the vessel into the First Port of call into Australia which is not necessarily the Discharge Port on the paperwork. Any agents not reporting prior to this time, will be automatically fined a minimum of AUD 110.00, to a maximum to repeat offenders of AUD 550.00.

In order to expedite the clearance of any goods in Australia it is necessary to enter the goods into the customs system prior to the arrival of the aircraft. Therefore we must receive a pre-alert that contains the following details:
Manifest with all general information plus full name/address of shipper and consignee, and invoice value of cargo for each HAWB.
