In accordance with the Decree No 172 of General Administration of Customs , all carriers are required to submit the cargo manifest data to the Chinese Customs 24 hours prior to loading at Origin Ports.

The rule is applicable to all imports , exports and transshipped cargo via China Ports (except Hongkong). All shipment to Chinese destination via Singapore, below details are to be requested on your Hbl from now on.

Your kind attention and co-operation to ensure compliance & timely submission of the complete B/L draft details to facilitate the smooth manifest filing with the Customs :-

1) Shipper’s, Consignee’s & Notify Party’s complete Name & Address.
2)Description of the cargo (6 – digit HS code ), Quantity, Weight and Measurement.
3)Container Number & Size and Seal Number.

As the enforcement of the new regulation will come into effect from 1st July 2009 , the actual testing will commence from 1st May onwards.
