PERSONAL EFFECTS INTO TUNISIA (TUNIS/SFAX/SOUSSE)
Please note that with immediate effect Tunisian customs have changed the local legislation relating to shipments of personal effects into the country. We are now obliged to request a special permit for each shipment of personal effects into the groupage container in order to get authorization to strip the container in our warehouse.
If this is not followed correctly the container may be returned to origin and cannot be stripped resulting into the other customers, whose cargo is in the container, getting penalized also.
WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT we require a clearly TYPED packing list mentioning the full details of the contents of the personal effects, name an address at place of origin and name and address at destination + value for customs too. If you have a copy of the passport please join that too.

Ecu-Line Antwerp will no longer ship PERSONAL EFFECTS/REMOVALS/HOUSEHOLD GOODS without this document. It must be in our possession at the latest the day PRIOR to the closing date. Failure to comply will automatically result into short shipment of your cargo as we simply cannot take the risk and jeopardize the shipments of the other innocent customers.
This measure is a result of global tightening security at customs borders.
